Is there some sort of guide somewhere that tells us what actually boosts or decreases yield? I don't see anything in the in-game help menu thing.
Specifically I'm wondering, does planting into a "cultivated" field yield any differently than a field that's planted into a "seedbed" state?

Yield Difference Makers
The facts, although interesting, are irrelevant.

The FS Academy has an article on this https://www.farming-simulator.com/newsA ... ews_id=291
As for your specific, I do not believe there is a difference in seedbed vs cultivated, just a different texture. You get more weeds from shallow cultivators, but less stones.
