How to spread straw in FS22?

I've done what I've done in previous FS versions and I've watched a couple videos. I put a straw bale from the shop in the straw shredder with a front-loader and drive around my horse and cow enclosures 18 times, jamming the shredder into any angle of I can think of around the enclosure and if there is a trigger, it never activates the option to overload the straw. The fact it even takes a machine to spread straw is dimwitted considering humans have been able to spread straw and hay for 1000's of years without anything more than a pitchfork.

What are we supposed to be doing with the straw?

Straw is unloaded at the same spot as the feed for the animals pen

I noticed at least one you tube vid where the shredder is throwing the straw so far you had to back up from the "drop point" whereas a forage wagon/trailer could dump right on the spot.

If I remember, there is a glitch in one of the cow barns where you have to have the straw spreader on one of the corners of the ramp

Pastures don't take straw do they?

Pastures do not take straw. And with the cow barns, you have dump using a trailer, there's a bug where you can't spread straw normally.

Not bugged per say, the trigger is just inside the fence, on the inside of the pen. And the straw blows fairly far. If the OP would have read my previous post, it works from the corner of the right ramp, looking at the non pasture side, or outside of the barn wall.

It also works inside if you point your nozzle straight down

Ok. It's completely broken. Good to know.

Wish there was a place we could see what's working and what's not since this is a huge waste of time having to try every single piece of equipment individually to see if it was even implemented in the game.

Since there's no option for straw at all I wonder what the idea behind the horse pasture was even if the water fill trigger actually worked.

As you're facing the concrete driveway - the lower left corner closest to you should be the trigger point. It is outside.

Edit: That is for the blower. Straw also goes where the feed goes inside the barn. Pastures do not require straw.

If you think the trigger not being anywhere within the placeable isn't broken, you, in fact, might be a little broken. No need for gaslighting when the workarounds are hilariously absurd.
