Non-owned Production Chain Storage Question

Do the production buildings you do not own on the map have a certain capacity you can sell to them? I did a cotton harvest contract on Haut-Beyleron and ended up with three full bales and a partial one. I delivered two, and when I got to the third and fourth, it only took a partial amount of the full bale, and now they won't sell! Even skipped ahead to the next day. Does the game store what product you sell until you buy the building and start production? Because now I'm at a loss as to what to do with these bales...

UPDATE:
Now I leased a Module 4 trailer and it's selling one liter at a time every time I load one bale from the sellpoint. I'm not doing this 30,000 more times lol

I had exactly the same problems. For a test I bought the production then and saw the storage is already 100% filled with cotton.
think that's the problem, storage already filled.

It seems to be letting me selling a bit at a time, I'd assume as the bar depletes. So it must have a capacity that has to run down first. Wish I knew what the rate was.

Set the bale on the blue light and it will take the product a little at a time.
