Multiplayer Max amount of farm?

Looking for info on how many farms we can have on our server. Currently we have 10 player slots but can only make 8 farms.

If we increase the slots to 16 are we able to make more farms for people?

you can Edit the farms.xml file and add more farms that way.
There is no way of doing it from within the game

I have succefully managed to have 32 farms on elmcreek - Just for the sake of trying it
but managed to have 14 farms running with 1 person on each, with no problems (we only played for a few hours and shut the server down again, as it was just for testing purpose)
