sooooo.. frustrating - super slow tractor speed when towing something...
OK, i leased a heavy duty 450HP John Deere tractor and a small trailer.
the trailer is empty and all i can do is about 1-2mph speed.
Ive changed it from automatic to manual transmission - makes no difference
anyone else?
any solutions?
I'm thinking its gotta be me, something I'm doing or not doing.

ok, with some trial and error. I realized that I needed to have my hydraulic hoses hooked up. I thought I only needed to have that hooked up if I'm going to dump it.

That's manual attach for ya.. lol. When I first activated it and loaded in the game, I had been rolling a field, now the roller wouldn't go but 2 or 3 mph. I was scratching my head trying to figure it out and then I realized I had to hook up the hoses

is MA working well? The only reason I haven't installed it is I was waiting to see if it needed updated. Its one of the few things available as a mod that I wanted base game, as an option of course (if you are reading this, THANKS WOPSTER!!!!!!)

I have MA and haven't had any issues as far as an update being needed. It can also be toggled on and off in the game settings so if you're doing shuttle runs to and from the shop setting up a new farm you can just turn it off and quickly attach/detach

This is my first time of actually using MA, rather than just installing it, forgetting it and moving on ... and it's great! (Apart from seeing the farmers near me using pickup hitches to couple to trailers without getting out of the cab) I did get a problem with the front-loader when changing the tyres on a tractor, but that was probably me and was easily fixed.
Thank you Wopster!

Generally yes, although I had issues with attaching the basegame Farmtech bale trailer with the Claas Teratrack for some reason.
Could be that the attachment joint was too high and didn't register as valid.
Re: sooooo.. frustrating - super slow tractor speed when towing something...
I'm using it without problems as well, but yesterday I did get a lua-callstack error when hooking up the header trailer to the New Holland tx32, but I didn't have time to investigate further what caused it.
Re: sooooo.. frustrating - super slow tractor speed when towing something...
I didnt check for errors but Ive had issues a couple times with hooking up header trailers also. Once with the NH Tx32 and once with the JD 560. It froze up and I had to restart the game

Yeah I think most of the stated things here are mentioned in the mod description. For some reason people dont tend to read that
Farmtech issue has been fixed.
The freeze issue (which rarely occurs when you have multiple vehicles with attached joints in range) has been fixed for an update.
There are always some hickups at the beginning

I have only run into 1 issue, the 12m Lemken drill hooks up from the outside but I get no option for the pipes. The drill itself functions fine even with the pipes not connected I didn't think to try it without MA to see if the pipes function in basegame.Wopster wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 11:26 am Yeah I think most of the stated things here are mentioned in the mod description.
