A question about vine fields: should I subsolate it?

Post by Paco_86 »

I want to do a conservation agriculture system in my farm. So, if I have inactive the plow option, should I plow my vinewood fields with the special subsoiler?

yep even with plowing turned off, they will still show needing it.

Are you sure? I don't see that. If I put in off the obligatory plowing, I can't see "it needs to plough" in my vineyard.

yep. unless mine was bugged at the start, it will show it soon enough. I have since turned plowing back on as I like destoning (I know, I'm weird)

edit - I should note that it doesn't show right after harvesting if memory serves.. it will need it later in the cycle

If you get rid of the need to plow once it won't reappear, but it doesn't need it. It just shows on the menu screen.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

Well the subsoiler works as a plow in game. So probably why it shows up, it's just part of the grape / olive 'process'.
