Taxes???

Are there taxes or something in this game? I have the economic difficulty set to easy, and the price given in my pricing list to sell Canola Oil was $5418 per 1000L at the GroceryMart. I sold 8 pallets but only received $27,093. I dont need to tell you, that doesn't add up. I should have received over 43k. Anyone else have any issues like this?
