At least Giants finally learned how to make a map. Although they served a purpose in their day, I could never go back and make a serious go of any past base game maps. Also as Paul stated, the larger maps add a sense of realism in regards to logistics and getting lost. Elmcreek expanded to 4x would be farm sim heaven. I never could get into stone valley, but when I watched 4x stone valley gameplay it felt euphoric.
