Help with landscaping

Post by simonm77 »

Good evening everyone,

I’m new here and fairly new to farm sim games.
I am playing FS22 on Xbox.
I recently purchased and placed the dairy and the way it was created in the game was awful. Really awkward loading position for produce due to the elevation of the ground. Even though the ground was previously level.
I tried fixing it with the landscaping tools which made it worse!
I bought a new dairy and placed it elsewhere on my farm and although( not perfect it is much better.
I demo,I shed the original dairy with a view of returning the land back to farmland.
Tried cultivating but that didn’t work. Any ideas how I can remove the concrete pad that has been left behind?

You must recreate the field with a plow enabling the option to create fields.

Rule #1 when building / landscaping.. Save before you start and have autosave off..

The most lacking functionality in FS19 landscaping was to turn it to "planning mode", and then get the option afterwards to execute for a given price or to revert/restart.. But didn't seem to make it into FS22 sadly, so saving before is crucial..

And rule #2: it's probably best to landscape a flat area first.

An UNDO button for anything related to landscaping would be great.

I think that is one of the worst features about landscaping , NO undo button or control

Thank you for your replies.
I have managed to roughly level the ground. Still not happy with it but will keep going with it.
I am really enjoying the game but the landscaping is terrible!!
