This is, what Microsoft called optimised for Xbox Series XS!?

Meanwhile Microsoft: let's give us 32 GB reserved space for Flight Simulator... yes, we can.

So currently we're stuck at 4GB on Xbox. There are, however potential ways to improve this in the future which we are looking into.
Fingers crossed then. Thank you Stegei.

I'm trying to find out how to actually find a PRRSON to call or write to. I'm, seriously, considering changing platforms because of this, and I'm due for an updated machine. It'll still be console, but PS is looking better and better. I'm not wed to Xbox at all.

If you are to going to switch platform, I would take a hard look at pc. I made the switch in 19, still use the Xbox the controller and takes no more room than the Xbox did. Also run it through my TV that the Xbox runs through.

I can't have a PC. My husband is in a royal feud with Microsoft anyway.

No…it’s Windows and the constant updates. He’s an Apple boy. I could get FS for Mac, but have no idea if that would be any better.

The Mac would *probably* work, although I'm not sure if the ARM processor Macs do yet, if so you'd get the sort-of unlimited mod space and slot-count, but you'd miss out on GIANTS Editor (GE) which is what you need when you "... just want to tweak this one thing ..."

You could always point out that if you DO get a Mac, then he has to do the in-house support? :)

Great idea on the support. Thanks. I could use the Mac for my photography, too. The bigger screen and newer processor would be great! You have lit a spark!!!!!

I went from FS on Mac to PC mainly for easier access to Giants Editor and would not go back as the performance I now have is way more than before, that said it was not terrible on Mac on lower settings where as I now run everything maxed out. This could be down to the PC being built more for games and I am no tech expert but from what I hear Mac is not the platform for gaming.

So any further development on this? Both current gen Xbox are capable of 8gb mod space especially when PS4 pro players also have 8gb mod space for fs22. This should of been equal from the start.

When did you switch from Mac? If it was before the M1 chips, the performance has increased dramatically. It’s only a suggestion, but the M1s are outperforming the Intels dramatically. I’m not advocating, just wondering.

You can get a version of Windows 10 which doesn't constantly update, if the updates are an issue for you.
