Why does Xbox have such small mod space?

No.. even on Xbox Series X and S it is only 4GB. On PS5 it is 8GB.

It is about Giants to change it.

If anything it will probably put people off buying the game on Xbox as why should you have to buy another console when it's for all platforms. Punishing almost a 3rd of its user base.

Unfortunately, the slot restriction on console is necessary due to hardware limitations.

We are trying our best to keep a good balance between performance and game extensiveness. However, note that console hardware specifications are generally lower than a gaming PC ones.

Still struggling to see why people think this is a choice by Giants to expand PS storage but not Xbox. As if they would possibly have anything to gain by doing it, or any reason to do it. Except of course to annoy certain Xbox owners.

With a version of the game that has more mods in the first 6 months on modhub then any previous version of FS in their whole lifespan. It's gonna become pretty urgent quick.

Thank you for coming back with an answer. I understand these things take time. To me its not the big of a deal, but it would be good have the same as PS5. The decision is ultimately down to Microsoft and all Giants can do is talk to Microsoft on behalf of players on Xbox. If Microsoft say no then that is their decision and we have to accept that. I appreciate this is not top priority and thank you for your reply, which gives Xbox players an answer from Giants perspective. Thank you

True, they might be able to make it 8gb for FS25.
Well actually i hope by the time FS25 gets out, i got a pc. So I can get rid of the pallet limit myself by then. Im guessing that's also gonna take 6 months to fix.
