One is enough I think.. Unless they changed anything from FS19

You don’t ‘need’ any. I run a 360 coop without roosters. Started off with 40 chickens and they have bred until the coop is full and they are producing eggs as to be expected at a very good rate.

So you don’t actually ‘need’ to have roosters.

Yep I don't have any roosters in any of my chicken pens and the chickens keep reproducing no problem.
