Productions

Post by FarmCatJenkins »

I have only recently started using productions, and was wondering if someone would be so kind as to explain what's going on with them. I have a composter that takes hay and straw and makes silage. The point says it does 48 cycles per month, and the output amount is 800 liters. Does that mean it's 800 liters per cycle? and in a month I would get 38,400 liters? Also if I'm playing 4 days months would it be 12 cycles per day?

Do you get billed every hour for a production running? I keep getting charges at the top of every hour but no explanation to what it’s from

You get billed for everything you have set to active whether it's producing or not, so don't place one and set everything to produce, only produce what you have the resources for

I thought that was the case. Thanks. The map I'm playing has everything set to active when you buy the land and I didn't realize that at first lol

Yeah I always remember to deactivate factories when they are not actively making any products.

Another question I came across last night. If you are distributing an output but have two factories that accept that as an input, how does it distribute? Will it split the distribution in half? Or fill one up before moving on to the next.
