BGA lines

Post by razrbx »

The BGA has three input production lines, silage, slurry, and manure. I can’t seem to figure out if these lines run independently or competitively. If I’m running silage and add slurry does silage slow down? I was running silage alone making roughly 140 per day. Added slurry the number increased to 170. Added manure and the number dropped to 115. If they run competitively, is this true of other facilities. If I’m milling wheat into flour and add barley to the plant does wheat slow down?

They run competitively, all productions seem to.

Depends on the production. Check the xml for this paramter in the production block:
sharedThroughputCapacity="false"
If this parameter in not there, it defaults to true and the total capacity is shared across all active lines.

The default BGAs (sharedThroughputCapacity="false") can run all lines at the same time at max capacity.
Same is true for bakery and grain mill for example.

In spinnery the lines shre the production capacity.

Mod productions might be defined differently though. So you want to check the xml to be sure.
