Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback, keep them coming

@Dudeguy-
As much as I like to increase realism, I don't have plans to add dry corn feature. I would have to make a lot of changes to various xmls and I am trying to keep map as vanilla as possible in that regards.
I will look into just changing Buying station to accept "MAIZE2" this way you just need to download DRY CORN Addon Mod and use GRIN22 Buying stations.

@ASOLANDRI- The Train is same length as GRIN19 and the track loop is apx 18.6km long. The train takes around 20mins to complete a cycle. So remember this when calling it. From what I tested so far it starts the rent charge only after you enter the train.
In regards to GEO, as of now I am planning to use vanilla growth schedule. I will add that to the questions list.

#8 Any changes to Growth Schedule you would like to see?
I do want to keep ability to grow Cotton and Sugarcane. I know its not realistic to grow cotton or sugarcane in the area but I want to keep it sandbox friendly.

I'd like the ability to plant wheat in the fall and harvest it in late spring/early summer and have a small window to plant soybean or corn for that season as well, if that makes sense. I believe the Canadian map that was released had that in the growing season.

I agree. If possible make it so that wheat and cotton only take no more than 6 months to reach maturity, not 8+ months like giants has it in the base game.

Regards to #8 Any changes to Growth Schedule you would like to see?
Here is what I have come up with so far what do you think?
From my knowledge Soybeans is mainly used for double cropping in this area.
The only thing I am not sure of is Soybeans I had to add="2" in period 4 to growth state and add="3" to period 3 for Cotton to shorten overall growth times. Vanilla only has add="1" per period
Generally in this area Soybeans are planted MAY/JUNE and harvested before NOV. (90day maturity).
I need to test though to make sure this wont cause other problems before I commit to the change.

Correct…we plant wheat late fall, harvest July and plant double crop soybeans. I also love the feature chedly was speaking about…closest I have to Ohio planting schedule

@vondeylenfarms-
Do I need to make more changes to GRIN22 Growth Chart?
If I'm looking at chart correctly

Year 1 Plant Wheat in OCT it will be Ready in JUNE Year 2
Year2 After JUNE Wheat Harvest plant Soybeans that will be ready in NOV Year2
Year2 After NOV Soybean Harvest plant Wheat that will be ready JULY Year3
Year3 Cant plant Soybeans because its now JULY (cycle broke).

I guess Year3 would be a fallow year, Is this Realistic or is there any suggestions?

@AJ, I'm guessing that the chart you have is probably correct for Indiana, so I'd say your modified growth is correct. If we all give our input, we'd all want it correct to where we live. If I can at least double crop wheat with soybean, than I'm happy. Than the year after, plant corn in spring, harvest in fall and plant wheat in fall.

@chedly_farms-
Thanks for the input, Your smarter then you give yourself credit for :lol:
Looks like it will work then as you described
I will go with it then. I wont be able to fully test if I want to submit next week, So you will all be the guinea pigs.
The nice thing is it wont break a save if I need to make changes down the line. It might upset current growth stage but will reset following season

Year1 Plant Wheat OCT
Year2 Harvest Wheat JUNE, Plant Soybeans JUNE Harvest Soybeans NOV
Year3 Plant Corn APRIL, Harvest Corn OCT
Year4 Plant Soybeans MAY, Harvest Soybeans OCT
Year5 Plant Wheat OCT (Cycle Restarts)

I think you can still plant with season calendar turned off, even if you can't plant cotton or sugarcane on that map due to the GEO's.

@ASOLANDRI-
The way I currently got it set up you can plant everything with seasons on.
Cotton's growth time has been reduced to match Corn
Here is the New Growth Calendar

Sorry…I work a lot and didn’t see you wrote back. I would say your chart as you described is fine. Like stated above, it’s probably fine for that area and very very close to how we do it in Ohio. I love the new maps coming but the growth chart can really “ruin” it for players that want realism. I myself greatly appreciate the work your doing and bringing this map to life again here and letting players work with you on this. Top notch modding in my book and can’t wait

This is awesome news, AJ! I had built a nice farm in Griffin '19 on the East side of the map, looking forward to returning to SW Indiana.

I feel like my biggest request if we are allowed to have them would be the ability to have AI workers move around with ease. send them to the dealer. Have them all grain all day. I guess I’m saying limit the obstacles and make the corners easy for them. Really enjoy the map on 19 and now with the AI ability should be even better
