Stone Valley Field Question

Post by FarmerNeen »

Hello,

Currently playing Stone Valley since it was updated which I'm enjoying, question about the fields e.g. Field 6 has these strips of grass\bushes in the field, is this something that fields have in real life and is there a reason for it? Does anyone remove these by plowing over the top to increase the field size? I get the fields where there's the running water through them, Cheers.

Heard them called water ways (or waterways?) before also, but they provide pathways for watershed off the field and can have grass/vegetation to slow down water flow and soil movement to help soil erosion control. A game being a game though you could always just flatten the areas out a bit and plow them over if you don't like them. Did that on Oakfield Farms19 with the tree patch in field 8 I think it was.
Let's get some cows!

I live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada and they have always been called waterruns around here. Lots of fields have dips and valleys where water runs and you will see this. You generally don't see them on just flat land.

360? No they are tons of windmills but each one is angle a little different so with all of them combine they hit 360. Also a little clarification, a ditch is the section from the road to the field a waterway is a section of grass in the field. Most of the time they aren't straight.

I can deal with a few in areas I have seen but have never been to illinois and when I first opened stone valley I could only focus on the windmills in every direction. I couldn't stare at windmills in every direction where I live.

I explain earlier in this post how the wind are in Illinois are, not the old style ones. There could be anywhere from 1 to 50 across a field facing all different directions. The father receives 10,000 a year per wind mill.
