Remove/delete items mod.

Is there one for 22? Used it a lot in 19 and it was great for redeveloping farmyards and creating new gates into fields etc.

As in a mod where you can walk up and choose to delete an item? Mobile Workshop https://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?mod_id=225545 does exactly that.

Ah, I see. That would be nice to have, I don't know if anything like that available for FS22.

Yea I just pop into GE. I prefer it this was as I can see the item groups and not accidently remove something vital to map functionality. Also, GE has an undo button lol. On my old cyberpower it was a pita as it took forever to load a map let alone save it but now it just takes a few seconds to load it and a few to save and zip it again.

Beside keeping a backup:

If you do not know exactly what you are doing, do not delete stuff in GE. You quickly mess up the node order and you will be left with a broken map/mod.

For maps I just move everything I want to get rid of below the surface. Typically 50m below surface never caused an issue for me in the past.
This way, the node order/structure stays the same and the map works without any problems.

Would have loved to have seen the Map Objects Hider Mod from FS19 get ported over to FS22 by the mod author but as yet no joy. I did ask the mod author of the Easy Dev Controllers mod whether they could expand the ‘Delete Item’ function of their mod so it can be used to remove more then just trees, but sadly they won’t do that.

So unfortunately without mod support we’re all going to have to download and install GE and start pulling maps apart ourselves with various results based on our own skills and ability to understand how GE works.

I feel the same way! It worked wonderfully for constructing new entrances to fields and renovating existing farmyards.

It is essential to keep in mind that this mod will only delete objects that have been dropped or are stored in containers; it will not delete the item itself, any recipes that include it, blocks that have been put, or any other object.dordle
