[Stadia]Exporting your savegames to PC

Post by Chaki »

You can export your game progress from Stadia and paste it into the PC version of LS22.
To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Open https://takeout.google.com/
2. Select ‘Stadia’ from the list (deselect all first)
3. Click on ‘next step’
4. Choose file type, frequency and destination of your export
a. Send download link via mail
b. Export once
c. .zip file type

5. Click on ‘create export’
6. Download the export when ready
7. Unzip the downloaded takeout file in your downloads folder
8. Navigate to Takeout\Stadia\GAMING\GAME_SAVE
9. Search for your savegame
10. Unzip the Farming Simulator 22_X_gamesave.zip (X is a number depending on the various savegames you have on your Stadia account)
11. Copy all files into an empty savegame folder in your profile (default Win: C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\)
12. You need a careerSavegame.xml which is not provided by Google
a. Create a new savegame on the same map and copy the careerSavegame.xml into the Stadia savegame
b. If you already have a savegame on that map, copy the careerSavegame.xml to your Stadia savegame

13. Your savegame-folder should contain ~41 files now
14. Start the game and enjoy the game

You have now successfully inserted the savegame into the PC version of Farming Simulator.
