They may be in Canada, but from those pictures they look like half the size.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

the largest wellingtonia's in the UK are 50m+ tall, which best the ~42m in-game, which would imply they were planted in the mid to latter half of the 19th century, and while that maybe half the height of the native ones of California that have had a 1000+ years to grow, they are still nevertheless found around the world.

the fact they were planted as ornamental trees, or a person of means folly back then, is neither here nor there.
plays FS15/FS17/FS19/FS22 on PC

In the mean time a horrible accident happens at the historical roller-coaster, state funding will be cut, people will move away and the quaint little town of SilverRun will remain nothing but a ghost town.
That sounds like a awesomely horrible story. What happened at the roller coaster? Did you build it right?? :confusednew:

Did you read that article? They literally said we thought ours were big until we saw the redwood Forrest in Northern California. Yes there are some big ones, but nothing in compared to California.

Very good. Now for actual information,
The General Sherman Tree is the world's largest tree, measured by volume. It stands 275 feet (83 m) tall, and is over 36 feet (11 m) in diameter at the base. From: https://www.nps.gov/seki/learn/nature/s ... 20diameter.

Ok now can we get back to why giants would put these massive, harvestable, useless trees in the game?

Same reason you put weeds or rocks in the farming part of the game. To add obstacles to bring it more in line with real life.

Weeds and rocks are a part of farming (which both can be disabled) Clogging up a large chunk of a forestry map with useless trees which you can't disable....
