Controller configuration for cranes etc

Has anyone made a better configuration for their (x-box one) controller, but on PC, for using cranes with grapples or tree-harvesters etc? I now ideally you would want to have dual joysticks because that's how these machines are operated in real life, but I'm stuck with the controller.

I use a mixture of controller and keyboard as i was finding that as i rotated the logs the jaws of the machine were opening and dropping them
