Standard version vs Platinum

I’m new to the game. Looking to purchase (ps5). Which version should I get. Is the platinum edition the same as standard but better?

The Platinum Edition is the basegame + Platinum Expansion. Standard is only the basegame.

Platinum is the same game but with a logging expansion. You might as well get the platinum version as its definitely worth it and its usually a bit cheaper as a package deal.
