I know this has been asked here before but I haven't found a good answer. I have also searched elsewhere and googled a lot.
I'm going to start Farming Simulator again and for me modding is the most fun. Especially new maps.
So what should I buy to get as complete as possible with tools, SDKs, etc.?
Steam or direct from Giant? Anything else to consider that I might be missing in my question?
What or where to buy?

The modding tools including Giants Editor and the Blender Exporter are free and available to download for all users at the Giants Developer Network https://gdn.giants-software.com/downloads.php
Both Steam and direct purchase options are equal really from a modders perspective. The steam version just has the game files within your steam library instead of directly into the program files directory on your hard drive, but this doesn't change anything. Plus, the steam version updates automatically which is a bonus.
