How to get mods to work in game?

For FS19 I downloaded some mods from Modhub.us and I put them in my mods folder for FS19 and when I launch the game I can see the mods I downloaded in the installed mods, but I can't see the mods when I go to a save game and choose what mods I want and I can't see them in the store.

Please post the log.txt file of the game here (see rhe link ‚log.txt‘ in my signature for instructions) so that others can get a better idea of what exactly is going wrong.

This is the path to your mods folder, but there is nothing in the spoiler in your post.

In the same place where you find the mods folder there should be a file called log.txt, please post the contents of this file here.

Hi guys,

I am having the same issue with a map showing up in the installed mods list, but not being able to select it when I start a new game.

don_apple I figured my problem out you need to delete the number after the mod name (ex: mod_name (1), delete (1)). I haven't figured out why Tomkinght16 map is not working.

G'day JTNoll33

I may be wrong, but the issue appears to be your mod file names. If this is anything like FS17 the mod file names can't have any spaces in them, which is why you see underscores in filenames a lot, ie the _ character.

Mod names also can only have upper or lower case letters or numbers, however the first character can't be a number.

Looking at the log file i would suggest to go through your mod folder and edit your mod file names, remove any spaces, remove any brackets, ( or ) characters etc from the filenames so that you only have letters, numbers or the underscore and see if that makes a difference.

Post back and let us know, if it doesn't work after that repost a new log and we can go from there.

EDIT : I didn't reply quick enough but I'll post it anyway, might help someone else, glad you got it working.

Grizzly39samr it worked you can't have any numbers as the first character in the mods name and you can't have a number be the last character in the mods name as well Ex: 2019_Mods_name_(1) has to be changed to FS19_Mods_name or Mods_name.

Examples of mod names that WON'T WORK: 2019_Mod_name, 2019_Mod-Name (1), Mod_name (1), 2019_FS19_Mod_name, 2019_FS19_Mod_name (1)

To change the mods name you have to change it in your mod folder.
