Dedicated Server connection problem

Post by george.earlslight »

Hello,
I'm trying to start my own dedicated server but it fails to connect.
I'm not sure what is the problem, so if anyone has faced this, please advise.

Code: Select all

Warning: Couldn't reach front server for public key.
Error: Failed to connect
Error: No connection could be established to the server.
Application quit
Port is set at default 10823, use UPnP is disabled, Port Forwarding is enabled on the router for TCP/UDP at the local IP port 10823.
The server can connect to the internet and download mods normally (from the web server interface).

Make sure you have the latest Root CA Certificates installed for your Windows installation.
Alternatively you can just install the Root CA needed for our servers. The easiest way to do that is open Internet Explorer and visit https://letsencrypt.org
This will automatically install the needed certificate.

Hello,
Thanks for the quick reply, really appreciated.
Your solution solved the problem. I suggest updating the dedicatedServer_EN.pdf with this.
