High definition audio device is more than likely a device you’ve used before that had its own sound card, the NVIDIA thing is NVIDIA’s software/technology for better sound when using an hdmi monitor or TV with built in speakers, and the Realtek is the driver your sound core uses. If your pc is like every other pc I’ve used, the Realtek is gonna be the best quality. It looks like you have the right thing selected in the sounds settings for your speakers (though I’m not sure what the Realtek digital output is)

Switching to the Realtek digital output makes the sound come from the built in speakers in my monitor.
For sure not the best option available on my system ...
