I bought this game a while back from kinguin to save some money. Now farming simulator is asking me for an activation after I already did that. I type in the same code and it says invalid and if i go to eshop.giants-software.com/downloads.php it says download limit reached. I dont know how to solve this.

There has been a few similar posts recently from people who have bough places other than steam or Giants direct. My guess would be it was cheaper because it was not an official key.

You probably have bought a key from a internet website (G2a, Kinguin g2play etc). Those are often bought with stolen creditcards or sold in a region where it's not meant to be sold.

In your case, the key is probably bought with a stolen creditcard and the money has been withdrawn. That's why your key has been deactivated. You should contact Kinguin to get another key or your money back.

If you used Paypal: Open a case.

Are you running any 3rd party shaders mods?

I am having this same problem and I also bought mine from Kinguin. I got it on jan 12th and was playing it daily then i went to play yesterday and it was asking for activation. Of course I could not activate it since I had already activated when I bought it. I contacted Kinguin and they told me to send email to Giants to see why it was revoked take a screenshot and they will get me another key or refund. I wrote Giants yesterday and no response so far so although it is not their fault I do hope they respond soon so maybe I can get a refund from KInguin and buy it on Steam. I am about ready to contact my bank and report the whole thing as fraud because I don't feel like waiting for something I paid for. It certainly is theft or fraud and I will not tolerate it for one second. So to sum it all up, I only saved a little money and now I cannot play my game. After this, I will NEVER buy from anywhere else other then STEAM, fanatical, greenman gaming or gamers gate. It's best to get keys that are activated via Steam then you can play on any pc that has Steam installed no bs.
