Having problems with new update 1.3.0.1

After the new update loaded from steam, My game keeps crashing after I fulfill a job and start a new one. The main time it seems to crash is when I jump In or out of a cab and the game will freeze completely, leaving me the only option of Ctrl=Alt=Delete, or switch off at the computer.

Is there anyone ells having these problems, or have I just got a bad download update, and if so will I have to delete the game and let steam reload it?

Is there anything in your log file that points to the cause of the crash. Could you perhaps post the contents of your log.txt file so people can check it and possibly offer suggestions or tips on how to resolve the issue you are having? Without the log file it's pretty hard for anyone including Giants or Forum Mods, as well as other knowledgeable players to offer any kind of diagnosis on the problem. If you suspect it's update related and you are on steam, try re-verifying your installation and game cache and then load up the game again and see if you still get the crash. If you do, it's probably more likely to be a mod related issue or conflict, again the log file will help, as people can see what mods you have installed and loadings and might be able to point to culprits causing your headache.

Update I have found the fault, it has nothing to do with version 1.3.0.1.
ContractorMod is the culprit, if you have a passenger with you in your cab, when you go to the gate to open it or do some other job that involves getting out of the cab the game will crash but if you have no one with you it works fine. The contractor mod needs fixing.

Yes the ContractorMod does indeed have some issues at present and a lot of incompatibilities with other mods. The Author is working on fixes as problems get reported to him. You should head over to the mod's GitHub page at https://github.com/yumi-modding/FS17_ContractorMod where you can report your problems directly to the author and also download a newer version of the Mod that is not available yet via the in-game ModHub that already has some bug fixes and changes in it.
