FS19 problem with mouse functions

> I boot up the Game FS 19 and tried to get a placeable and the mouse wont grab it for me to put it where I want it. can't move the placeable and I can't grab the patch mod 1.2 that changes the ground texture, you know the one you can raise and lower the ground and add grass and other textures the mouse wont move it. It worked fine at one point but a dell tech reimaged my machine at one point and i had to reload everything and i haven't been able to get this function back...can anyone assist me in getting this mouse working correctly in game for this ??
