Update 1.4 windows 10 issues

So I downloaded patch 1.4 but it was saved to the (C:)folder on my pc and it as DVD drive (E:). Is this wrong,or is it right? I ask because I installed the patch afterwards and I really couldn't tell any difference in graphics quality. Should I uninstall and download patch 1.4 again and save it to a different folder? Sorry I sound like a newb,but when it comes to downloading files,sometimes I'm not sure which folder to save it to. TIA!

When you start the game does it say 1.4 in the top left corner? If so everything is ok.

When I start the game,I don't see 1.4 or anything in the top left corner. Thanks for your help!

There should be a version number there, 1.3.0.1 or 1.4

I haven't noticed the version on screen before until today. Started the game and there it was,guess that tells ya how much I pay attention to things.
