FS19 not starting up

I've been trying to start FS19 and I keep getting a popup about my "game.xml" file in the program path being newer than the version in the profile path. It then asks if I'd like to replace it but whether I pick yes or no, the game still just gives me a black screen for a few seconds and then crashes. I've tried deleting the file all together but then it doesn't even give me a black screen, just gives me nothing. Running via Steam. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Try deleting the shader_cache folder in document/my games/farming simulator 19 --> shader_chache
