Cannot update to 1.5.1 "FS2019 not installed"

Hi,

I got a CD copy of FS2019. I am not able to update to 1.5.1 . I get the following error:


It says "FS 2019 (Dutch) is not installed".

Anyway how i can fix this? Changing the language doesn't seem to help.

How did you get that CD Copy and usually FS19 is on DVD not CD

I'm having the exact same problem. I downloaded the .img file from the Farming Simulator website, and it still gives me this error even though I did manage to install previous updates.

A reinstall worked for me.

This usually happens if you reinstall Windows and keep the installation of the game around and don't reinstall the game afterwards (in that case it will still work, but is no longer registered as being installed) or if you move the game installation directory after you installed it (in that case, the registered installation points to a non-existing location).
Reinstalling the game and then installing the patch will fix the issue in both cases.
