Oakfield Farm - Grazing Pasture 6&7

Hi everyone! First post here, pardon any noobness in my query!

I'm trying to get a sheep farm setup in Oakfield, and have bought pastures 6+7, along with the general sheep farm plot, which includes a small field.

On the main plot, the small adjacent field is wonderful. Nice incline, looks realistic, and most importantly the sheep GRAZE THE GRASS in the field! Perfect.

However, I cannot, for love or money, manage to get the same grazing ability in fields 6+7? I have sheep in the field, I have tried painting grass over the pre-existing grass field, and various other attempts... no matter what, the 'available grass' remains zero.

Does anyone know what I need to do, in order for the sheep to graze the field like sheep should do?

Perhaps I need to delete the field completely with a roller, then plough it and paint it, or some other trickery?
