Logitech Side Panel (PC Only) Not Working

I have Farming Simulator 19 and I recently got the Logitech Side Panel (by itself, not the bundle).
So far it doesn't work at all with FS19. The game doesn't even see it at all.
I have my version of FS19 through Steam and Epic.
NOTE: Windows does in deed see the side panel and all inputs check out and are fully functional.

So how do I get FS19 to recognize the side panel?

Make sure its plugged in before you start the game. There may be something you have to select in Steam to make it recognize it , I don't remember having to do that but I've heard it said. Not sure about anything with Epic

I did get it to work. Had to delete my game.xml and gameSettings.xml files and let the game repopulate with defaults when I relaunched the game.

I have a playstation 4 and when i got farming simulator 19 i got the steering wheel and the side panel from Logitech and it worked perfectly fine and nothing was wrong with it . then when i got farming simulator 22 i pluged it in and i could only get a few things to work like the blinkers . the steering wheel worked fine it was just the side panel that didn’t work . dose anyone know how to fix it .
