FS22 - Difusse map terrain texture

I'm trying to make an alternate red earth color for my mod map, however when I try to save to any DX10 version as the Giants Editor 9.0.1 console says, all textures turn black. And when consulting the GE 9 Layer Manager, I see that the pixel format, number of Mipmaps and channels are wrong. Using paint.net, I can save the file with the setting of BC7(Linear, DX11+). With this save setting I can get very close to the result of the original game. However, it is still not correct. The result looks like this: Pixel Format: BC7 (same as original); On a Mipmaps: 10 (2 more than the original); Channels: 3 (1 less than the original).

How do I create my own terrain texture?

I agree with the question because I would love to add my own soil textures to my map. it would be great if the mappers could give tips.
