Connection to the server lost. Check your internet connection

I launch multiplayer, look at the server list, select my server being hosted externally that all my friends are on and connect. It changes to the connection screen, shows 10% in the bottom right and sits there for 30sec-1min and then errors. Connection to the server lost, check your internet connection and restart the game. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, I play Warzone, New World, Overwatch on it with zero issue. This isn't occasional, I have never gotten this to work.
