FS 22 Crashing on Apple MacBook Pro (2019 16")

I have a 2019 16" MBP 2.4 Intel i9 with 32GB RAM and the AMD Radeon 5500M 8GB. Mac OS 12.0.1

I have over 500GB of free storage.

I played the game for a few days with no problems. Suddenly, I now can only play for 5 minutes before the game freezes and my Mac restarts. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game, online and offline, low graphics and high, etc. I cannot figure out how to prevent it from crashing or even isolate what is causing it to crash.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

I uninstalled the game and deleted the FS22 Application Support folder on my Mac. I then reinstalled the game and began playing.

I was able to play for about 15 minutes before it froze and crashed my computer.

Help please!

It's best if you're able to post your "log.txt" for people to peruse, it often provides interesting information which may help you and/or someone here...

Do you know where to find your log file? If not go to C:\Users\xxx\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2019 and log file should be near the bottom, open it and copy all of the text. Post it in a reply here but in the full editor there is a spoiler button at the top of the text box, you could also type

Any updates on this? I cannot even launch the game after a fresh install, it crashes right away. No errors reported in log.txt

Hey there,

I have the exact same Specs on my MacBook Pro (16 inch, 2019; 2,3 ghz i9, 32 GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB). I was also able to play the game with no issues the last two days, but now it crashes after about 10 minutes into the game.

Note: Not my whole Mac crashes, only the game.

Any updates/solutions to this problem?

FWIW, I have the same issue of crashes running a 2019 Imac 27" I9, 64gb and Vega 48 8gb card. I have found 98% of the time my crashes came from the Physics Thread when I allowed an AI helper running a harvester to make a backing maneuver while turning around. I have managed to string together multi hour sessions by either giving the ai plenty of room to turn around without backing or just doing the turns manually. I have ran 3 jd x9 1100 successfully at the same time. Your mileage may vary, but it works for me. I have filled out a bug report giving Giants this information.

I am having the exact same problem. As soon as the AI backs-up or backs-up then starts moving forward in a Harvester, the game crashes.

Any fixes? Removes a HUGE portion of the game if I can use AI to harvest!

First of all I would recommend to make sure you have the latest version of the game, currently 1.3.0.0, installed (the running version of the game is displayed in the upper left corner of the main menu).

If the game still crashes with the latest version then your best option is to open a report in GIANTS official bug tracker (please make sure to include the crash report generated by macOS): viewtopic.php?f=964&t=168424

Same problem after new update release. Giant cannot answer this issue. They just suggest me to look here. Insee that a lot of have the same problem. Giant develope game, take money but they cannot afford good product. Shame.

I'm having the same problem when using AI to harvest. Have had the problem since version 1.2.0.0 (mid December) even though there has been 3 new versions since. Made a bug report for each version, but Giant still haven't fixed the problem. And pretty boring having to harvest all fields without the help from an AI...

So your suggestion to cmanski to make a bug report won't help - unless of course we are enough dissatisfied customers that complain

Having the same issues reported by others here. Game crashes if I hire an AI worker for harvesting.
