Game randomly crashes

Got a new computer and it required a download version instead of the disk. Ever since I got it, the game crashes randomly. Presents as a freeze, then crashes. Any help would be appreciated! The computer is literally brand new with 16g of ram.

Have you tried to delete the game and to reinstall it again from the beggining ?
