So I'm trying to setup my Thrustmaster T-GT wheel with FS22. However I'm having a hard time setting the Deadzones and Sensitivity in the game's menu for the different axis on the wheel and pedals, due to the game not telling what the axis actually relate to, and certainly from my point of view can't relate anything the game is telling me to what I see in the normal windows controller properties or in the Thrustmaster Software.
I go into the game menu and I see this:
How do I know which axis is for my wheel? How do I know which is for the left analogue stick? how do I know which is for the right analogue stick?
All I want to do is make the wheel more responsive and have a more 1 to 1 relationship with the steering of the vehicles in game. I also want to eliminate the stick drift on the two analogues to the camera isn't rotating on it's own all the time and the player character isn't moving by themselves when on foot.

test it step by step.
Axis 1 Deadzone to 50% and then test
Axis 1 Deadzone to 50% and then test

Actually finally found a way. If you open your inputbinding.xml and scroll to a section with the controls you want to identify, so obvious one for checking deadzone on steering, head to the AXIS_MOVE_SIDE_VEHICLE which is steering and check your input devices and you can see the Axis which you can then use to set the deadzone back in the game menu:
<binding device="0_XINPUT_GAMEPAD" input="AXIS_1+" axisComponent="+" neutralInput="0" index="1"/>
<binding device="0_XINPUT_GAMEPAD" input="AXIS_1-" axisComponent="-" neutralInput="0" index="1"/>
<binding device="0_044F-B684-0A00-XFw/XEhJRCNWSURfMDQ0RiZQSURfQjY4NCM4JjE2NDA1YTZiJjAmMDAwMCN7NGQxZTU1YjItZjE2Zi0xMWNmLTg4Y2ItMDAxMTExMDAwMDMwfQA=" input="AXIS_1-" axisComponent="-" neutralInput="0" index="2"/>
<binding device="0_044F-B684-0A00-XFw/XEhJRCNWSURfMDQ0RiZQSURfQjY4NCM4JjE2NDA1YTZiJjAmMDAwMCN7NGQxZTU1YjItZjE2Zi0xMWNmLTg4Y2ItMDAxMTExMDAwMDMwfQA=" input="AXIS_1+" axisComponent="+" neutralInput="0" index="2"/>
Rinse and Repeat for Camera Movement, Accelerator and Brake controls and hey presto you can set your sensitivities and deadzones for your devices now with some actual guidance. No more trial and error.

Still not very useful as it still doesn't tell you what Axis is what, also the little bars they added between each section don't do anything, or certainly me me moving sticks and pressing buttons on the controller is not registering anything. Also I see another GUI issue has been created by the Patch in that now it says Sensitivity Twice now and "Deadzone" has now gone. So some people might not know which box relates to which setting now.norfolk farmer wrote: ↑Fri Feb 25, 2022 10:44 am I've not tried this as yet but maybe they have made some changes.
