- Issue: The game needs a brightness setting. The game is very dark on the Xbox One X console. On TV, I have to set the brightness to max so that it can be played. TV is calibrated, in other games is ok. TV is Samsung UHD Series 6

Yes I have the same issue with my XBox One X copy. Even my TV settings are not getting it to a satisfactory level.

I hope they can add a brightness option in-game. This is definitely needed.

FS17 does not have this issue. Could be because of the engine lighting change.

On PC there is a”brightness setting” in the menus.

I found the game a bit dark even in daytime ... so I tuned it up from 1.0 to 1.2.

Yes, no advanced options for console. Hopefully they can add a brightness setting for console versions.

Any indication when we can see this addressed. I am still fiddeling with TV settings everyday to be able to see something when playing, then when I watch TV etc...I need to readjust settings.

The known issue list was also last updated on the 3rd of December. Any updates on what is coming next in regards to fixed would be appreciated.

I would like to confirm and co-sign this thread, I also have xbox one x and the game is very dark at night.

It is not just being dark at night, it is just lacking the necessary brightness even in day time it is "dark" not bright enough. They need to introduce brightness settings for the console version.

I have this too, it really *censored* on the xbox one x because the daytime is too dark. It's like the game is trying to do dynamic exposure but fails at it. I do not have and HDR tv set. The daytime is very dark because it's like the game is trying to correct the brightness to show the sky but at the expense of the shadows being pitch black. We need a setting to turn off that dynamic exposure. We should open support tickets to ensure it's heard.

Also chiming in... Literally cannot do work after dark and even during the day it looks bad in the shadows as it is too dark. Never had this problem with 17.

on ravenport at night it wasnt bad but modded maps yes too dark
