So after "placing" gravel in place of a dirt or grass or field using the landscape tool, you do in fact have a new, desired texture. However, if you drive on it, tiremarks are of the original texture not the new painted one. So after driving ONLY on gravel I have a nice "white" tracks where concrete was originally (Felsbrunn near the silo) and dark dirt tracks where the field used to be (now painted with gravel).
tl;dr
It seems like the "tire tracks script" does not take into account the new texture and generates tracks basing on the original ground.

This occurs with other things like the rocks and concrete as well. Your vehicle also gets "dirty" with mud.
