FS19 Shovel area pickup

I am not sure if this is a bug or as intended.

When using a loading shovel to scoop fruits from the ground, the shovel seems to pick up from a very large area, you do not even have to be at ground level for the shovel to collect the material.
In FS17, the shovels would only pickup material directly in front of them, which was good, as it was far more realistic. Now it appears that the shovels pickup in a huge radius , several meters from the shovel.
I have tried all the shovels in the game and all display this trait.

To reproduce, simply tip a load of any fruit on the ground and collect with any shovel. You can see the "radius"effect, rather than the shovel picking up what is only in front of it.
