[WON'T FIX] Estancia Lapacho - underground trees

We don't want the Fake Trees/Bushes placed on the ground though, as they cause collision issues for vehicles, tools and workers. Much easier to completely delete them from the map as they serve no purpose. Not like you can cut them and make money from selling them, they don't even produce woodchips when you saw them. Just removing them from the map solves the problem quick and easily, and just leaves the proper trees that you then need to remove if you want to do terrain terraforming or field creation.

Fake trees? is a tree for decoration, the objects for decoration have rigid body, surround it like a building ...

Vanquish you’re confused we’re referring to them as Fake Trees because Giants are using them as bushes and foliage. They have been deliberately sunk into the ground so only the top part shows to act as decoration and save Giants putting in a real bush or foliage decoration. The problem is unlike all the other bushes and foliage these have rigid body which means tools and workers won’t work around them. The other bushes and foliage decoration used in game doesn’t have this, can be removed with a simple plough or with the terrain painting tool. These Fake Trees can’t be removed like that in game. Only way to remove them is delete them from the map file.

Now another alternative they could have done would be to go into the map file, highlight all the smallPalm_bush entries and then select to replace these fake trees with actual proper trees and place them above the ground. This at least gives players the option to cut them down to remove them. But again take not that Forestry Machines won’t cut trees on this map, which is another bug/issue that so far Giants have refused to fix/patch.

I have now uploaded a full replacement for the entire Estancia Lapacho Map, for the PC Players who want to fix this problem they can do so. Just download this zip file and replace the same zip file in your mod directory. Map uses the latest version released by Giants, so is 1.3 Patch Compatible with Paintable Grass and such small details, but has the horrible and annoying Fake Trees, many of which below the ground level removed from the map, meaning equipment and AI workers can work all areas of the map without breaking now.

Unfortunately for the Console Players the Map is still broken, until Giants stop being silly and start fixing the problems and bugs submitted by us players aka their paying customers, instead of just tagging every bug report with [Won't Fix].
