Icons not appearing on some maps and PDA

Some of the maps I have downloaded don't appear to show up the sell icons. Marwell manor has no buildings showing up on the farm(sheds,dairy,house,etc) no matter which farmer mode I select. and most maps that I download now have no icons on PDA also no sell points in pop up windows. I have disabled all mods in the folder and still no results...any help appreciated.
