Hi everyone,
Milk and slurry are not being produced with seasons enabled. I'm on xb1 with shamrock valley map. Have both ayrshire and saler on the farm.
I disabled seasons and they both began producing again.
Anyone else noticed this?

Okay for a Start Salers are only a carcass cow, used for meat so won't ever produce milk. Ayrshire cows will produce milk but only after they have given birth to their first calf, and will only produce milk for a short time after that, and then will stop until they give birth again. Generally in the first year of seasons you will get no milk, as the cows purchased won't be old enough to breed.
As for slurry production, you will only produce slurry if you don't put straw in the cow pen. If you add straw to Cows or Pigs in Seasons you will produce manure instead.

Re: No milk or slurry with seasons enabled
Thank you.
I wasn't expecting milk from the salers, I just wanted to mention it in case there was a conflict between the two that I dudnt know about.
If we dont put straw in the pens are we losing some of the production bonus like the 10% iirc in the vanilla game?
Thanks again

No you won't lose any production bonus from not putting in straw. The only reason to add straw is to produce manure instead of slurry, for the players that want or need to produce manure.FearEile wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 7:56 pm Thank you.

From talking with folks from Realismus, yes, you will lose some of your production/health if you do not provide straw to the animals. I can't recall how much; I think it was in the 5% to 10% range, but definitely don't quote me on the number.
