Wrapping Grass Bales 1.6

- Vehicle/Tool/Model/Object: Tested with base game Kuhn SW4014, (seems to affect all square bale wrappers)

- Issue: Unable to wrap square grass bales after 1.6 update

- Single

- Steps to reproduce:
Mow Grass, Bale using any Square baler, Try to wrap grass bales with a wrapper. (Does. not affect round bales)

- Does it happen on a standard map without mods yes
I have tested with and without seasons and with or without straw harvest. I happens in base game with no mods.

- Which vehicles & machines are involved: As far as i can tell and or test on xbox all Square bale wrappers. (or the produced Square grass bale from the baler?)

I've just tested on a new game and I can definitely wrap square bales in 1.6 with or without the straw harvest mod enabled.

On console or PC? Because it works fine on my PC also but not on Xbox.

My friend and I are having the same issue on PS4...with or without straw harvest

Same here. Getting the "Bale not supported" message whenever I try to wrap a square grass bale. Disabling all mods doesn't seem to make a difference.
Playing on PS4 btw.

I get the same issue on PC. Map Medicine Creek with Seasons. Without Straw Harvest mod.

I see. So if I already have the regular square baler and want to make silage bales, I'll have to get the Krone one? Hope they fix it at some point...

I think this is pretty game breaking.
They should come with a quick fix.

In fact, I think GIANTS did it on purpose.
They want everyone to use the upcoming Vicon/Kverneland Fastbale

Is there an update coming up for console with the new DLC? Maybe they'll have some bug fixes along with it that could sort out this problem.

This is a pretty big bug. I’m sure they’ll fix it pretty quickly

Yeah its kinda game breaking for many farms.

This is 99% not a modhub bug, because it happens with standard equipment, it also happens without any mods.
Tested on obox one.
Probably someone from giants shoul check that up.
I have tested it with and without Straw harvest, with and without vicon pack and also without any mods on Ravenport and it is always the same message.
Only time I am not getting that message is with SH Krone baler bales.
Admin should move this back out of modhub bugs probably.

Restart your game and don't touch Straw Harvest in any savegame and you should be able to wrap bales fine.
The moment you use Straw Harvest in a savegame all other saves will have issues.

This was tested on new savegames. (not by me)
Not sure what happens on existing saves.

So if you have added straw harvest to a save game it’s too late to go back?
