[FS19] - Ravensberg 1.1.0.0 support- and discussions-thread

Welcome to Ravensberg

I uploaded V1.2.0.0 to the modhub on 1.3.21.

For all players who would like to play with the standard settings instead of the Maize Plus settings, you can download the hotfix version here .

With this thread I want to give you the opportunity to mention bugs, improvements, criticisms and impressions of the map. - added selling point supermarket Langenheide (only with new savegame)
- meadows now have set the plowed flag (only a bug on PC; only with new savegame)
- adjusted filling area of the biogas silo so that the silage no longer protrudes (only with a new savegame or replacing the BGP)
- added chicken coop to the farm (only with a new savegame)

Explanation of the flags:
[REPORTED] = I added the error to the list.
[FIXING] = Troubleshooting is ongoing.
[FIXED] = Bug is fixed.
[NEW] = Updates to the map.
[NOBUG] = No bug on the map.

Hi TopAce888, is there anything you can do to reduce slot count on console? It's over 1000 on new farmer with only small slot equipment @ the start. Console's have 1299 max so not a lot of wiggle room. Looks like a brilliant map but I feel you'll get a lot of negatively due to high slot counts, I personally won't be but I did feel the need to ask if anything is possible. Thanks 👍

That sounds strange. Ive run the Giants Testrunner Tool and it says round about 650 Slots with the farm buildings, but without the equipment. The problem is, it is not possible for modders to test their mods on consoles before releasing. Whats the slot count, if you sell everything?

So new farmer counts are as follows...
everything is 1031 slots
No equipment is 843 slots
Everything sold. 808 slots

Could not sell cow barn for 1 slot as buy/sell point doesn't work, by going to animal dealer and doing it there I sold them and got slot count to 807.

If you start on farm manager it's.. 843





And on start from scratch the slot count is 843 without owning a thing

All counts done without a single mod loaded.

I guess you are right, that could be a reason why the console version hasnt a better rating than the PC version, like it is with Minibrunn. You console players are easier to satisfy, but when it comes to slots, things get serious. :lol:

Haha that is because we know what we can have and everything on console must go through giants testing so we know 95% of the time it will work. I have absolutely no idea how hard it is to mod or even to make console ready but I'm sure it's a lot.

Now in reg7 to slot counts, on new farmer you can sell everything including placable items but on farm many and start from scratch you can't hence the extra slot count over new farmer, I did try to sell cows again and still no ability from cow shed ( I do assume it's the yellow/black box outside the double doors on side?). I think the giants tool isn't as accurate as it should be as slot count can be all over the show lol.

Oh no, its quiet easy modding for consoles. Its the PC that makes the job hard. Maize Plus, Forage Extension, more terrain angles, Global Company and so on. For consoles I dont have to deal with it. :lol:

I will have a look at the cow problem. Normally, it should work on both cow sheds, because its the same placeable object.

How you work is crucial. Building the PC Version first and preparing them for Console is an higher outlay then the other way around, but these needs more foresight and organization.

Hopefully these is understandable, my english isn't the best. :blushnew:

I double checked this with some console players in the german support thread. After selling everything they have 618 slots for the map. Thats a big difference to your 808 slots. :confusednew:

Yeah I've just seen a guild too with Mr sealyp, I have to buy the land for the farms and then I can sell everything and get slots down. Only issue is now once sold you can't get them back lol
