[SOLVED] no sound, no menu video, game lags like crazy

Hello,

- PC
- game
- Issue: no sound, no intro video, lag ingame
- Single- or Multiplayer: both
- Steps to reproduce: when i start the game
- Does it happen on a standard map without mods yes

i installed directx and still no menu video or sound

it was caused by 7.1 sound i changed to 5.1 and it works

is this still an issue with the latest patch? (1.1.2.0)
Are you using a 7.1 headset/audio output by any chance?
