[SOLVED] Interactive icons don't work with G29 plugged in

- PC/Mac/PS4/XB1: PC
- Vehicle/Tool/Model/Object: Interactive Icons, such as the shop and workshop
- Issue: When my Logitech G29 wheel is plugged in I am unable to interact with any of the interactive icons. This is also the case for manually activating straps on trailers. Deleting the input bindings has no effect and neither does reassigning the specific binding for "Activate Object". The latest patch has been installed.
- Single- or Multiplayer: Single Player (not tested Multiplayer)
- Steps to reproduce: Start the game with a logitech G29 wheel plugged into the computer and try to access the shop via the icon
- Does it happen on a standard map without mods: Yes

Got same problem with Thrustmast TMX "pro"
Tryed everything but no way to have interaction with icons ore straps on trailers.

Hello!
Thank you for the feedback - regarding input devices: our game currently supports up to four different ones hooked up to the PC (keyboard & mouse, steering wheel & side panel for example). If you use more, the game will have some key binding conflicts, so please limit it to four when playing FS19. Also, be sure to delete the inputBindings.xml file found under Documents/MyGames/FarmingSimulator2019/inputBindings.xml after downloading the latest patch and then restarting the game. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response x Lethian x, however this had made no difference:

- This happens if the only the G29, keyboard and mouse are plugged in
- I'm running the latest patch (1.1.0.0 (17801/19830))
- Deleting the inputBindings.xml and restarting the game has no effect

Yeah - we are looking into it. might already be on to something. We are still investigating ;) We are currently noting down all the equipment which seems to be causing problems.

I unplugged everything, just pure keyboard and mouse. still got the same effect. Also i seen i lost totaly zoom out in third person mode. Mouse and keyboard do not zoom out anymore. But zoom in works, been driving from inside the seeder :lol:

I just tryed and confirmed, im using 1.1, i currently only have mouse keyboard and joystick connected. nothing else. keyboard only the game works fine, when the wheel is plugged in, the game wont let me interact with icons. i was standing ontop of the icon and pulled out the controller and almost instantly the icon gui poped up for me to activate.

i know a friend who also has the exact same issue, it seems your "limit of 4 devices" is actually a limit of 3. this is a big deal breaker as it makes the game unplayable. i will be requesting a steam refund until this issue is fixed as im not paying for a game i cant play.

Go ingame to the G29 (or any other gamepad/wheel) key bindings in the ESC menu, and clear them all out.
You can keep the mouse/keyboard settings as is.
If any refuse to be cleared, save the new keybindings settings (at bottom of keybindings page), save and exit game and go to the My Documents > Games > FS19 folder and manually remove any G29 keybindings that were remaining out of keybindings XML.
If you have other controllers, do the same!

Restart game, and put new keybindings in for steering, pedals etc (remember, save keybindings at bottom of page!) and voila, the interactive icons work again.

Note: I still need to use the Wheels SDK to remove FFB after every Win10 reboot, and still need to hit brake once when coming back into a game, as it does not solve my auto vehicle reverse driving, but at least it now works like this for me.

cleaning the ingame settings "activate" kills the problem for the moment.
But still got problems with zoom out.

If needed, please also install the newest software update for any logitech input devices you are using:
