Since yesterday I can no longer play the game (FS19). Soon as I try to attach a header to a harvester at the store the game freezes. Today I can't attach many implements to anything without the game freezing. I have always had a problem detaching some implements. There is no errors in the log. Only 1 warning in log about bushes, That has always been there in Ravenport map. Also happens without any mods.

In the game itself, go to the key binds, and delete a key, and assign another. Save. Change it back. Save.

I had massive problems with harvesters at the beginning and it stopped me playing for nearly a week, but then it suddenly started working after I decided to just plough the entire area out of boredom.

To fix accessing the lights (Mac keyboard without numeric keypad) I had to re-assign them...but I did this in the game itself and not from the main menu...

Worked ever since!

Hmm... I wonder why it started working for me then... (I'm now worried it might break again).

Try buying the Ideal and a non-folding header, and see if you can attach it. This is when I first found it worked.

For me, detaching anything, or trying to select the harvester as tool with header present, or trying to activate the thresher resulted in a freeze 100% of the time, with every harvester.

Do you have any silos on your farm that you placed? This was the only other change for me. Every time it crashed, I had no silo. Unfortunately, I made the silo and key changes at the same time within the same session when it started working for me.

I might try a new save and see if it freezes.

Figured it out. First of all i forgot to mention that i installed patch 1.1.2.0 Beta yesterday. That was a huge mistake, all my save games started with machines missing and frozen when I tried to start them. Ended up uninstalling fs19 to get rid of the new patch. Then had to reinstall fs19.

So now I deleted the input binding xml in the savegame folder, restarted the game and all my settings are set to default, except for the dead zone settings in options. I use the Logitech Saitek wheel, pedals & side panel. I decided to try using the default in game settings and WHOOLA game has not frozen yet. Of course it takes a lot to get used to what buttons do what. keeping the help menu open is a big help. I remembered there was 1 setting the game would not let me change when I tried to set the wheel the way I like. Maybe that may be the problem. Any way I will work with the default settings. Will take time getting used to them. For now I'm happy as pigs in mud that the game is working again.

In the future I will be very careful of changing any one the in game game pad settings.
