[SOLVED] fS19 unable to select seed type

Unable to select the type of seed to sow, it's stuck on wheat.
There is no indication in the F1 help tab how to change seed type.
Single player
The standard Felsbrunn map

I have played FS15 & 17 so tried the standard "Y" key but that doesn't change seed type.

Having tried different things I have discovered that if I unplug my G27 wheel & pedals i get the option to select seed. However as my G27 is the way I travel round the map and actually farm unplugging it is not an option.
I suspect this is one of the numerous bugs with the controller issues which may be fixed sometime in the future.

i don't understand how you can break something which worked perfectly well in FS17. I do know that this is the last software I will buy from Giants and Focus, I don't expect to pay full price for software, which at best can be described as Beta.

According to your log.txt you have some other controllers connected as well:

According to Giants the game currently only supports up to 4 devices, including keyboard and mouse. So you can have 2 additional devices.

Since you have 4 additional devices you will have to make a choice which 2 devices you want to use with the game and unplug the other 2.

I have the same controllers connected and FS17 works without a problem so I don't understand why that changed for the newer game.
i will wait and see if the fix for the other controller issues fixes the problem, if not then I will uninstall FS19 and avoid any other products associated with Giants and Focus.

Even with only 4 devices enabled/plugged in (unless I'm missing something) I still don't get an option to change seed Don.
Saitek pedals and X52 unplugged as well as my gamepad. Although "Gamepad/joystick" it does not show in Devices.

According to your log.txt it looks like there is an issue with detection of the right number of buttons and axis of your wheel in the game:

According to your log.txt it looks like you are still using the beta of patch 1.2, therefore I would recommend to install the official version of the patch, since it contains a couple of additional fixes: viewtopic.php?f=876&t=137380

Thanks Don, I hadn't realised the patch had been finalised.
I have now installed the patch and now have the option to select seed and have corrected the G27 button mappings.
The only anomaly now is that the G27 paddles (5 & 6 in FS17) are labelled LT & RT
